This is the best overview of the state funding process that I've every read. Thanks for taking the time to break it down into simple to understand steps.

Well, as an employee in the CMC side of the house, there is still extreme uncertainty, unverified rumors, suspicions, distrust for management, and an overall drop in morale that rivals the sinking of the Titanic. The progress of the 82nd still has no answers, prognosis, or indication of the reality of what will happen to us. We are collection of professionals, veterans, and we have familes and lives like everyone else. We break our backs to provide high quality medical services to a difficult population all the while trying to support one another on a shoe string staff and below equality pay. Tough times, they are.

According to the Comptroller it costs $37,500 a day to run the Legislature, so a 30 day special session would cost $1,125,000.

Just out of curiosity, approximately how much does a 30 day Special Session cost the State?
